Homemade Peach Kuchen

 D'Lish Dishes

 

This delicious old time favourite is quick and easy to make.

 

D'Lish Dishes - Peach Kuchen
Serves: 8 adults
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Cost: $1.50 per serve


Ingredients:

Peach Kuchen1 Vanilla or Butter Cake Mix
125g butter
1/2 cup cocunut
1 kilo tin of sliced peaches (drained)
1 cup sour cream (300 ml carton)
1 egg
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Cinnamon

 

Utensils:

Pie Dish
Mixing Bowl
Measuring Cup
Spoon

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Rub butter into cake mix and coconut until it resembles breadcrumbs (rub between your thumb and fingers)
  3. Place mixture in pie dish
  4. Cover with peach slices
  5. Mix together the sour cream, egg and brown sugar
  6. Pour mixture over peach slices
  7. Sprinkle with extra coconut and cinnamon
  8. Decorate with a few peach slices
  9. Bake in a moderate preheated oven for 15 mintues, or until gold brown
  10. Serve with either ice cream, cream or custard
