Ingredients:
8 large white mushrooms
1/2 bunch chives, chopped
6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon parsley
Pepper and salt to taste
1/2 cup grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Utensils:
Chopping board
Sharp knife
Garlic crusher
Small fry pan
Mixing bowl
Baking Dish
Serving dish
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- In a small frying pan, saute shallots and garlic in olive oil for about a minute or two
- Mix shallots and garlic with bread crumbs, parsley and a dash or two of salt
- Wash and stem the musrooms and place them in a medium, greased baking pan
- Add a small amount of butter to the bottom of each mushroom cap
- Add the bread crumb mixture
- Finally generously top each mushroom cap with mozarella cheese and a dash or two of pepper
- Bake until cheese is melted and golden.
